Is It Easy To Return An Item?
Yes, simply give us a call at 888.899.8776 or you can email our support team at support@audioadvice.com. Many times our team of experts can help figure out why the product might not be working like you expected and get things fixed over the phone, so don’t be surprised if we ask a few questions, we love troubleshooting!
If our tech help can not make you happy, we will email over a return shipping label with a Return Number.
Hopefully, you saved all of the original item’s box and packaging inserts. You will want to pack back up your return or exchange in the same way it came out of the original box. Once you have everything packaged correctly, tape the box on the top and bottom to assure it stays together. If Audio Advice shipped the item to you inside a second box, it's a good idea to use that same extra box to help prevent damage on its way back to us. To avoid it accidentally coming back to you, use a magic marker to cross out the old shipping label or just tear it off.
The return shipping label we send you will have our address on it, just make sure you take the box to the right shipper (UPS, FEDEX, or USPS) as per the label.
If you are close to one of our stores, please let us know if it is more convenient for you to return it to us directly. You will still need to get a return number by contacting us and shipping and/or restocking charges may apply.
When Will I See My Refund?
It usually takes around 7-14 days for the refund to show up on the payment method you used. We do inspect all returns for damage and accuracy of the item inside the box before issuing a refund. Some items may be subject to shipping and restocking fees.
Can I Exchange My Purchase For Something Different?
Sometimes those big speakers just don’t fit in the room or you might have bought a small subwoofer and later found out you’d love a bigger one. If you would like to make an exchange within 30 days of receiving your item, just give us a call at 888.899.8776 or email support@audioadvice.com and we will help work out the details. Additional shipping charges and return costs may apply.
How Do I Cancel An Order?
If the item has already shipped out or is a special order item, it is not possible to cancel the order. Please contact us at 888.899.8776 or email support@audioadvice.com to start the return process.
What If I Find Shipping Damage?
We need to know right away about any shipping damage. Please contact us at 888.899.8776 or email support@audioadvice.com within 48 hours of your delivery so we can get the ball rolling on making things right. It’s very helpful to take some pictures and email them to us if possible.
Can I Refuse A Shipment?
You can, but unless the item is damaged, shipping and restocking fees will be deducted from your refund. If your item arrives damaged and you are lucky enough to be there, snap some quick pics and refuse the order. Then contact us so we can get a replacement on the way.
What Happens If My Order Is Defective?
This is actually pretty rare, most consumer electronics work fine out of the box 99.9% of the time. We’d like for you to contact us first by calling 888.899.8776 or email support@audioadvice.com so we can help get to the bottom of things. If your item is indeed defective during the first 30 days, we can usually exchange it for a new, replacement unit.
What About Service After 30 Days?
Audio Advice has a great relationship with all of our brands and can help you with warranty service by the brand after our 30-day guarantee period. Even after the warranty expires, we can arrange for service by the brand on products purchased from Audio Advice. Just call 888.899.8776 or email support@audioadvice.com.
How Do You Determine A Restocking Fee?
You may not believe it, but sometimes we receive items back that were put in the box with zero packaging and are completely destroyed or are missing many of the pieces that came with the item. We also track serial numbers and will get back different serial numbers. We’ve even seen different items than what we shipped out be returned. However, it’s very important to package your return properly so that nothing goes missing or gets damaged in shipping, which will result in a restocking fee or even no refund at all. If a product is opened and the market value of the product is reduced, then a restocking fee may be applied to the cost of restocking and the reduced market value of the product. The bottom line is if you treat us fairly, we will do the same.
Audio Advice strives to provide industry-leading support and service while also maintaining the lowest prices available on products for our customers. We work hard with our vendors to bring our customers the best products at each price point. As a part of that process, we work with our vendors to provide the lowest pricing in our stores and on our website.
Our prices should always be the same as any other authorized dealer, including big-box retailers and major online retailers.
If you believe that you have found a lower advertised price from a legitimate authorized seller, call us and let us know so we can make sure we can correct any inadvertent error on our side. As a matter of policy, we update our prices automatically if a vendor changes its authorized pricing policies, so we generally have the best prices all the time. Increasingly, there are knock-off copies of products online, usually sold by non-authorized dealers.
Please be sure that the item meets the following conditions:
- The item is brand new, in stock, and available for purchase
- The item has the identical model number, color, etc as the item on our site.
- The seller is an authorized dealer
As always, our goal is to provide a terrific customer experience, including industry low prices. We appreciate your support.
Overview
The new JVC DLA-NZ700 D-ILA Laser Projector boasts a Refined Sleek Design, Native 4K, and BLU-Escent Laser. Discover Your Next Cinematic Journey.
All Components Redesigned
The optical unit, lens, and circuit board have all been redesigned to achieve the world’s smallest native 4K projector.
Volume Reduction
The DLA-NZ700 has a dimension reduction of 35% compared to the previous DLA-NZ7/RS2100, while still incorporating a laser light source and native 4K D-ILA device.
Re-design of Air Intake and Exhaust
By placing the heat source exhaust at the rear, the potential impact of the image on the projection screen has been eliminated. This provides more flexibility for installation.
Environmental Considerations
The design of the new projector models uses significantly less plastic, which also reduces transportation costs. This leads to a product that is much more environmentally friendly.
Native 4K
The proprietary 0.69 inch native 4K D-ILA device enhances video quality and black details.
High native contrast
The DLA-NZ700/RS2200 achieves 80,000:1 native contrast by simultaneously improving alignment control and pixel flatness.
Uniform brightness
The Manufacturing process has improved uniformity of brightness across the entire screen, with beautiful image quality to every corner.
Low Latency
Low Latency design further improves response to the player’s rapid operations, making it effective for displaying high frame-rate gaming content on large screens.
New BLU-Escent Laser
JVC’s proprietary laser light source technology, Blu-Escent, uses a blue laser diode as the light source. The DLA-NZ700 achieves a high brightness of 2,300lm with a laser life expectancy of approximately 20,000 hours.
Improved Power Efficiency
The DLA-NZ700’s brightness per watt of effective power is approximately 2 times that of the first model equipped with BLU-Escent Laser (the DLA-Z1 was released in January 2017, with a brightness of 3,000lm).
Controlling the Luminance in 101 Steps
BLU-Escent Laser can finely adjust the luminance according to the environment and preference using the Light Source Control by slider adjustment. There are a total of 101 (0 – 100) luminance control steps that can be used to make fine adjustments to match the target luminance in the environment and on the screen.
Newly Designed fully Motorized 4K Lens
Superior Resolution
Newly designed large aperture (80mm, 11groups, 15lenses) 4K compatible lens delivers full native 4K D-ILA resolution to every corner of the screen.
Installation flexibility
Fully electric (Zoom, Focus, Shift), with 70% vertical and 28% horizontal shifts for easy installation.
Ultimate Dynamic range
HDR Drastically Improves Expressive Power of Images
When it comes to reproducing the rich video information of HDR content, including the extended brightness range, BT.2020 wide color gamut and 10-bit gradation, rely on the new D-ILA projectors. The DLA-NZ700 supports all HDR formats including HDR10 for Blu-ray and streaming, HLG for broadcasting, and the HDR10+ with dynamic metadata compatibility. The projectors’ improvements for higher brightness and contrast have helped to achieve a wider dynamic range, allowing users to enjoy an immersive experience with HDR images full of reality.
DML (Display Mastering Luminance) for Better HDR Experience
DML (Max Display Mastering Luminance) metadata, which represents the nit level of the professional monitor used to grade the movie to the director's standards, is used to set the dynamic range of the title for improved HDR tone mapping. On the DLA-NZ700, both DML and MaxCLL values are used for the HDR levels.
HDR10+ described
In HDR10, the basic standard for reproducing HDR content, there are only two pieces of information: MaxCLL, which represents the maximum brightness of the content, and MaxFALL, which represents the average maximum brightness. However with HDR10+, the luminance information for each scene is embedded in the content as metadata, which allows for scene-specific tone mapping and faithfully reproduces the HDR image intended by the creator.
Gen2 Frame Adapt HDR Function for Brighter and More Colorful HDR Images
The Frame Adapt HDR function, which uses a proprietary algorithm to instantaneously analyze the maximum brightness of any HDR10 content per scene or per frame and perform real-time tone mapping to optimal dynamic range for video projection, has evolved into the second generation (Gen2). The algorithm for tone mapping has been fully reexamined to achieve HDR images with higher definition. Furthermore, the proprietary algorithm for tone curve selection has also been improved to reproduce HDR images that are brighter, more colorful, and have a wider dynamic range.
Deeper Blacks for Richer Gradation
The new Deep Black Tone Control has been added to Frame Adapt HDR, with a new algorithm to further subdue tones in dark areas to achieve more realistic darkness. This function maximizes the dynamic range of the new-generation 4K D-ILA devices and delivers images with more contrast than ever before. Scenes with light and dark shades such as nightscapes can be projected with greater realism.
JVC Advanced Technology
Cinema filters richly reproduce colorful images with a wide color gamut equivalent of DCI-P3
The CINEMA FILTER enables the wide color gamut of of DCI-P3 film standards. HDR content typified by UHD Blu-ray, which has a much wider color gamut, can be richly depicted with gradations of the sky and sea, contrasting crimson roses and rows of fresh green trees.
Equipped with Vivid picture mode that reproduces SDR content in rich colors
Vivid picture mode is a standard dynamic range (SDR) picture mode that reproduces content in rich colors. You can enjoy popular SDR video content, such as animation, in bright, rich colors and clear images.
Proof of high-grade, high-quality projectors licensed with ISF Certifications
All models are licensed with the ISF C3 (Certified Calibration Controls) mode, enabling trained dealers to professionally calibrate them to desired screen surfaces, lighting environments, and video sources, and then securely store these precise settings into the projector.
6-axis Color Management System
A 6-axis matrix of red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow enables the precise adjustment of hue, saturation, and intensity. Users can make adjustments suitable for the content as the projector allows precise management of colors.
Auto Calibration function
Using an optical sensor and proprietary software*2, optimum calibration can be applied in just a few easy steps to match the changes in optical characteristics caused by the installation situation of the projector. Auto-Calibration optimizes all essential elements found in the image, including color balance, gamma characteristics, color space, and color tracking. In the past, multiple calibrations were required, but now it's possible to complete the calibration with a single calibration.
*2: An optical sensor and proprietary software, which is downloadable from JVC website, are required to perform auto calibration function. Refer to the JVC website for details.
Convenient Features
Installation Mode
These projectors are equipped with Installation Mode that allows users to centrally manage settings related to installation in order to enjoy projected video optimized for each environment. As shown in the graphical interface, eight settings for Lens Control, Pixel Adjustment, Mask, Anamorphic on or off, Screen Setting, Installation Style, Keystone, and Aspect can be adjusted. Additionally, 5 different mode settings can be stored in memory and named as desired. Installation modes stored in memory for various environments can be called up immediately.
Screen Adjustment Mode
Screen Adjustment Mode is one of the nine Installation Modes described above. When the user selects a setting that best suits the screen being used from the Screen Adjustment Mode settings, the projector adjusts the image with natural color balance to match the screen. The mode is compatible with the latest models offered by the world's major screen manufacturers.
Digital Keystone Function*
These projectors feature Digital Keystone Function. Digital Keystone adjusts keystone distortion that occurs when the projector is placed in a tilted position.
* : Digital Keystone Function cannot be used simultaneously. Keystone adjustment corrects only in the vertical direction.
Anamorphic mode for wide cinematic films
A 2.35:1 aspect ratio for wide cinematic films can be enjoyed by combining the projector with a third-party anamorphic lens to create dynamic picture reproduction just as can be seen in a movie theater.
USB Back-up
The USB Back-up function can save and write settings on the main unit menu to a third-party USB flash drive all at once. It is important to save adjustments made by an installer or specialist, or to undo unintended adjustments made by children or family members.
