NRG-Y2 AC Power Cables feature direction-controlled Semi-Solid Concentric Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors and ZERO-Tech, minimizing the noise of your A/V system.
Long-Grain Copper (LGC)
Long-Grain Copper (LGC) minimizes distortion caused by grain boundaries that exist within any metal conductor.

Semi-Solid Concentric Conductors
In our Semi-Solid Concentric conductor topology, strands are packed more tightly and never change position within the bundle, significantly reducing strand-interaction distortion.

ZERO-Tech
While many AC power cables feature low DC resistance in order to accommodate the demand for high current, a cable’s characteristic impedance is also crucial for optimal performance. Unlike most AC cables that constrict or compress an audio-provoked transient, AudioQuest AC cables combine low DC resistance and zero (no) characteristic impedance in order to deliver uncompressed transients on demand.

Silver-Plated Drain Wires
Direction-controlled Silver-Plated shield conductors efficiently drain RF noise from the line and neutral shields to ground via the third “ground” pin. The net result is powerful, dynamic, and immersive.

Direction-Controlled Conductors
All drawn metal strands or conductors have a non-symmetrical, and therefore directional, grain structure. AudioQuest controls the resulting RF impedance variation so that noise is drained away from where it will cause distortion. The correct direction is determined by listening to every batch of metal conductors used in every AudioQuest audio cable. When applicable, arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to ensure superior sound quality. For most models of AQ cable, the arrows not only indicate the direction that optimizes metal-directionality as part of Noise-Dissipation, but also indicates non-symmetrical attachment of shield and GND in order to optimize full-system performance. A fundamental aspect of AudioQuest's multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors ensure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly.

Shocked It Improved So Much

My faith has been shaken lately with cables, but that faith was quickly restored. Added this cable to my gaming setup as I wanted a sturdier cable for my Series X. Wasn't buying the cable expecting changes, and everything seemed to just "pop" more. Definitely less artifacts and distortion throughout the image. Definitely adding better power cables to my Home Theater as well.
