Overview

Connect amplifiers, receivers, soundbars, and AVRs to a broad range of subwoofers with this AudioQuest Husky XLR subwoofer cable. Solid 5% Silver conductors minimize distortion, Polyethylene Air-Tubes preserves dynamic contrasts, and a Carbon-Based Multi-Layer Noise- Dissipation efficiently dissipates high-frequency noise. The result is clearer, naturally beautiful music, intelligible dialog, and thrilling sound effects.

Connect amplifiers, receivers, soundbars, and AVRs to a diverse range of high-quality subwoofers with AudioQuest Husky XLR subwoofer cable, meticulously designed for exceptional performance and outstanding value. It features superior materials, time-tested design elements, and world-class construction to deliver best-in-class audio quality.

AudioQuest Husky enables naturally beautiful, deeply impactful bass that doesn’t bleed into other areas of the sonic spectrum, delivering a more enjoyable, satisfying long-term listening experience — one capable of producing immediate thrills as well as more nuanced, complex emotions.

Solid 5% Silver conductors minimize distortion and enhance the dissipation of high-frequency noise; Polyethylene AirTube insulation contributes to cleaner, more coherent sound; Carbon-Based Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation efficiently dissipates high-frequency noise; and AudioQuest’s 72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) works to produce blacker backgrounds for a more immersive entertainment experience. The overall result is cleaner, clearer, more naturally beautiful music, intelligible dialog, and appropriately thrilling sound effects.

AudioQuest Husky is also available with RCA terminations.

  • Solid 5% Silver Conductors: Solid conductors help eliminate strand-interaction distortion. Although harsh and aggressive for full-range audio, silver-plated conductors enhance intelligibility and articulation when used for subwoofers, resulting in a cost-effective way of manufacturing very high-quality subwoofer cables.
  • Polyethylene Air-Tube Insulation: Because air absorbs next to no energy and Polyethylene has a benign distortion profile, Polyethylene Air-Tube Insulation, with its high air content, causes much less of the out-of-focus effect common to other materials. The result is clearer, more coherent sound.
  • Carbon-Based Multi-Layer Noise-Dissipation: AudioQuest’s Noise-Dissipation technology significantly reduces the RF Noise that reaches active circuits and causes masking effects.
  • Triple-Balanced Geometry: AudioQuest’s Triple-Balanced Geometry uses a separate ground-reference conductor, so the cable’s shield is never used as an inferior conductor. The cable’s three conductors ensure that the positive and negative signals have equally superior, low-distortion conducting paths.
  • 72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS): AudioQuest’s patented DBS creates an electrostatic field that molecularly optimizes the cable’s insulation (dielectric). This minimizes distortion by increasing the dielectric’s efficiency at high frequency, resulting in clearer sound emerging from a “blacker” background. The inclusion of an RF Trap further reduces induced radio-frequency noise.
  • Cold-Welded Hanging-Silver over Pure Red Copper Terminations: Cold-welding bonds the plug to the wire using high pressure, preserving the character of the wire at the point of termination. Hanging-Silver directly over pure Red Copper further ensures optimal signal transfer.
  • Direction-Controlled Conductors: A fundamental aspect of AudioQuest's multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors ensure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly.
