Overview

Using the same DSP (digital signal processing) generator found in the RP10 the Neo is built upon a high stability crystal. The Neo features an advanced anti vibration circuit, fine motor speed adjustment and the convenience of electronic speed change. The DSP generator will divide the accurate signal from the crystal to the exact frequency required to turn the platter at the selected speed whilst will producing a near perfect sinusoidal waveform to drive the 24v motor.

Stopped working

Not only is the REGA Planar 3 an overhyped pice of garbage, this also is in the same category. It has stopped working - when turning on the 45rpm switch it now completely stops the platter. It's frustrating that this is even a thing. REGA's claims of having the best and highest standards is a complete BS statement. If they wanted a good product, this wouldn't be needed, it wold be built right into the f-ing turntable. I'm so unhappy that I purchased this and really hope Audio Advice gets back with me. I highly suggest not buying into the hype with REGA. I feel most reviews at this price point and higher are untrustworthy, because humans tend to slip into a state of denial when they spend so much money on what turns out to be a stupid purchase. Don't believe the hype.

Just buy it!

Holy crap! I have a Rega p3, and I was lucky when I bought last summer, Rega was out of the exact2 cartridge so I was upgraded to the Ania for the same price. The turntable sounded great, but I thought it was missing something. Then I read a review where Audio Advice recommended to someone to upgrade to the neo psu and the Sutherland Kc vibe and they where blown away! Well I just plugged in the neo psu and I am already totally amazed! Next week I am ordering the Sutherland kc preamp! I can't wait! Thanks Audio Advice!
