Does the Job

I used this to help install an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge on a Rega P6 to replace the Rega cartridge. If you are reading this, you may know that the Ortofon adds 4 mm of vertical height that needs to be adjusted for over the Rega Exact. These shims allow you to do that without removing the tonearm. They fit just fine and installation was easy with a screwdriver. I did have to also shim the rear of the dustcover, which I did with a little engineering, since it bumped the top of the tonearm after installing these. They are a bit pricey, but they do the trick nicely and allowed me to move up to the Ortofon 2M Black cart.

Great product

I used this set on my P6 to install an Ortofon Bronze, they were easy to use and got the arm at the exact height I needed.

Leave my Rega Tonearm MOUNTED

Who wants to disconnect everything to adjust tonearm height? (answer: no one) This is an elegant solution to that conundrum...I have an RB600 so the little French curve Baroque curly-cues will poke out a bit, but no matter: convenience and adjustability prevail.

Worth the money.

When you spend close to $1400.00 for a turntable / cartridge whats $75.00. Some sites stated that Ortofon cartridges work fine without shimming the tonearm but there is a 4mm difference between the Rega cartridge and the Ortofon not to mention others. I did notice a slight difference in the tonal quality after installing these. The quality is spot on, easy straight forward installation. I did have to install some shims at the back of the turntable so the dust cover doesn't rub on the tonearm weight. Maybe these could be added to the kit.

Great for Rega VTA adjustment

Great for adjusting the VTA of a Rega arm in 0.5 mm increments without removing the arm. The adjusters are well made but seem a little pricey for die cut aluminum pieces. But indispensable for VTA adjustment.
